Samsung is currently the world's number one Phablets manufacturer, with a market share of 70% in this area in 2012.
It is estimated that from 2012 to 2018, the shipment of ultra-large screen Android phones will increase by 25.8% annually. In 2018, the sales volume will exceed 150 million units, and the total sales volume will reach 825 million units, with total sales exceeding US$116 billion. At present, the sales and shipments of ultra-large-screen Android phones in the North American market are ranked first, and research shows that the Asia-Pacific region will become the world's largest and fastest-growing market by 2018.
Since Samsung released the first generation of Galaxy Note in November 2011, ultra-large screen mobile phones have received more and more attention from the market. At present, Android phones with 5 inches or larger display screens have become the norm. Samsung also recently launched the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and 6.3 with larger screens in an attempt to further expand the market.
